nba draft

DraftExpress.com released their latest 2014 NBA Mock Draft Monday. As the college basketball season heads closer into the NCAA Tournament, NBA scouts are able to see who has what it takes. The most recent mock drafts have taken both the Harrison Twins off their list and now they have taken sophomore Alex Poythress off.

Kentucky does have three players on the latest mock draft in Julius Randle  (No.4 to the Boston Celtics), Willie Cauley-Stein (No.12 to the Orlando Magic) and James Young (No.24 to the Charlotte Bobcats).

Louisville has two in Montrezl Harrell (No.18 to the Phoenix Suns) and senior guard Russ Smith (No.12 in the 2nd round to the Denver Nuggets).

Harrell has moved up a lot of analysts list the past month or so. With his size and athleticism, he has a lot to offer. He also has improved on his passing and jump shot. The further Louisville goes the higher Trezl will go in the draft.

I still think Russ Smith should go higher. He has worked a lot on his passing and he is a proven winner. His size seems the only thing that worries scouts.
