Teddy Bridgewater was on the Dan Patrick Show Tuesday morning and he seems excited to be a Minnesota Viking, but he apparently would not have been to excited about being a Cleveland Brown. He told Patrick that he told his agent before the draft that he did not want to be drafted by the Browns.
Bridgewater loves the Vikings organization and how they treated him before the draft. He says they have a family environment.
Now the thing is this. Bridgewater wasn’t picked up by the Browns, but Johnny Manziel was. Although the Browns really liked the former Louisville QB and all their experts told them that Bridgewater would have a better NFL career than Johnny Football.
Teddy and Johnny will be the two rookie QBs that will be the ones to remember from the 2014 draft. Blake Bortles of course was drafted before both of them, but Manziel and Bridgewater both have a lot more pressure to succeed and make a name for themselves.
