Teddy Bridgewater has been in the top five NFL draft pick in most mock drafts since his senior year began. That has all changed as NFL media analyst Daniel Jeremiah now has him as the 26th pick to the Cleveland Browns.
Jeremiah wrote, “I still view Bridgewater as the top quarterback in this draft class, but he has failed to generate excitement among the personnel executives I’ve talked to. If he falls past the Titans at pick No. 11, I think it’s realistic he could slide all the way down to this spot.”
Bridgewater had an average pro day at Louisville last week. Many analysts left unimpressed, but many teams still really like him. Teddy will have some private workouts with teams, that is where he will either rise or fall in the draft.
One of the biggest fails in Jeremiah’s draft is that he has Houston picking DE Jadeveon Clowney as the first pick of the draft. The Texans got traded QB Matt Schaub, which would point that they have a quarterback in mind for their first pick.
If I had a guess I would say Teddy goes No.8 to the Vikings, but I am no NFL analyst.
