Over at the Philadelphia Inquirer, Keith Pompey is reporting that 76ers center Nerlens Noel wants to play in April.
Noel tweeted out “4-4-14″ Sunday afternoon which sources close to the situation claim is the day he would like to hit the court for his first NBA debut. The game will be played in his hometown of Boston against the Celtics. Here’s that tweet
Nerlens Noel is a former Kentucky Wildcat who tore his left ACL on February 13th last year when blocking a shot on the road against Florida. He averaged 10.5 pointe, 9.5 rebounds and 4.4 blocks per game. He totaled 106 blocks on the year which earned him the SEC Defensive and Freshman of the year awards.
