The most anticipated college basketball game is finally here. Time for houses to be divided and the state of Kentucky to shut down. Everyone has their opinions about what they think will happen in Rupp Arena Saturday, so I figured I would take some time to give my own.

Now this may make some of you upset, you have been warned.

-Kentucky will win the tip-off and Big Blue Nation will be loud.

-The Wildcats will force up their first couple shots, showing their youth in a big game.

-Louisville will score the first points of the game with a Chris Jones layup.

-A Julius Randle dunk will excite the home crowd again, as well as the players.

-Both teams will have some emotional fouls, causing both to go to the bench early and often.

-Kentucky will go into the locker room at half-time with a two point lead thanks to rebounding and some late threes. Kentucky’s leading scorer: Cauley-Stein with 8 points.

Louisville’s leading scorer: Chris Jones with 9 points.

-The Cardinals will come out with a new game plan, which includes finding Blackshear in the corner for three. Helping the Cards to take the lead.

-Louisville’s Harrell will get into a little bit of foul trouble while battling Randle underneath. Behanan will get two steals, leading Cards some fast-breaks and allowing Louisville to put a lot more pressure on the Cats.

– John Calipari will get a warning from the refs after complaining about a missed call or something.

-Russ Smith will show once again why they call it Russ Arena with some quick points.

-Aaron Harrison and James Young will keep the Cats alive with a couple of threes. But bad free throw percentage from the rest of the team will keep them from closing the gap.

Louisville will win 82-78.russ rick

Louisville’s leading scorer: Russ Smith with 19 points.

Kentucky’s leading scorer: James Young with 23 points.
