With just a few weeks left until the thick hysteria of March Madness invades our time and energy it is time for us to focus on what the experts are predicting the brackets to look like. Today USA Today writer Shelby Mast released some predictions and ESPN expert Joe Lunardi updated his predictions.

In both writer’s Bracketology reports the Louisville Cardinals and Kentucky Wildcats were given a five seed.

Louisville was given the fifth seed in the South Region by Lunardi and Mast, they are projected to play Harvard by both as well.

Kentucky was picked to play in the Mid-West by Lunadi to play the winner of Oklahoma State or Providence. Mast has the Wildcats playing Middle Tennessee in the East Region.

I would think that Louisville would move up at least one seed if they do well in their next four games and do well in the AAC tournament, too many ranked teams at the top of the conference not to. Kentucky will have to really impress in their wins and other ranked teams will have to fall for them to receive a better ranking.
