Time to look in on some of the men’s college basketball teams in the Bluegrass state. There is a lot of good basketball in the country, but not many states have the quality across the board like Kentucky, don’t you think?


Kentucky: Ranked 14th in the nation with a record of 11-3, 1-0 in SEC play. Will play Vandy on the road Saturday at 3:30pm on CBS.

Louisville: Ranked 11th in the nation with a record of 13-3. Lost to Memphis at home Thursday night, have not beaten a top 25 team this year. Plays SMU on Sunday at home, game starts at 1pm on CBS Sports Network.

Western Kentucky: Are 10-6 on the season. Will play Arkansas-Little Rock January 16th at home at 8pm, game will be played on ESPN3.

Eastern Kentucky: Are 10-6 on the season, have not won a conference game yet. Plays Morehead State Saturday at 7:30pm on the road.

Morehead State: Are 11-6 on the season, averaging an impressive 41 rebounds per game. Play EKU on Saturday night at home.

Murray State: The Racers are 8-7 on the season so far. Will play Austin Peay Saturday night at home.

Northern Kentucky: Are 7-10 on the season. Will play East Tenn. St. on the road Saturday at 4pm.


Other Colleges In Kentucky

Kentucky Weslyan: 10-6 so far on the season, 5-0 in conference play.

Transylvania University: 3-9 on the season.

Union College: 12-3 on the season.

Kentucky Christian: 1-9 on the season.

Pikeville: 13-1 on the season, 4-0 in conference play.

Bellarmine: 11-0 on the season.

Campbellsville: 6-7 on the season so far.

Spalding College: 6-5 on the season.
