Gorgui Dieng his best game yet for the Minnesota Timberwolves, scoring 12 points, grabbing 11 rebounds and blocking five shots against the Sacramento Kings. The NBA rookie played 37 minutes, which he has been playing just under 11 per game this season.
The Minnesota Timberwolves beat the Kings, 104-102. The Kings were without former Kentucky Wildcat DeMarcus Cousins.
Dieng was averaging 1.7 points and two rebounds a game before Sunday night.
This is classic Gorgui
In the #Twolves locker room, jokes were flying. Chase Budinger: “Yeah, G, talk to that media!” … Gorgui Dieng: “I don’t speak English.”

It is amazing that it has been a year since Dieng helped Louisville to a National Championship. Great to see the big fella doing well.
