Anthony Davis didn’t make the original Western Conference All-Star team, which was a shock since he has been playing so well for the New Orleans Pelicans. He is averaging a double-double a game with 20.5 points and 10.5 rebounds. He is also averaging 3.3 blocks per game.
Anthony Davis will be named to the Western Conference All-Star team as Kobe’s injury replacement.

According to Brett Poirier, Davis will replace Kobe Bryant, who is injured. Most were surprised Bryant made the team in the first place since he hasn’t played very much in the first-half of the season.
Davis and John Wall are the two Kentucky Wildcats playing in the game. Wall will participate in the dunk contest as well.
Glad to see @AntDavis23 made the All-Star Game. Well-deserved. Still disappointed @boogiecousins isn’t on it b/c I know he’s an All-Star.
