Josina Anderson(@JosinaAnderson) of ESPN is reporting that former Denver Bronco Wesley Woodyard will sign with the Tennessee Titans.
Woodyard, a former Kentucky Wildcat, has played in Denver his entire seven year career. He has been the teams special teams and defensive captain multiple seasons with the Broncos who drafted Woodyard back in 2007.
While in Denver, Woodyard totaled 434 combined tackled, 8 forced fumbles and 5 interceptions. His team lost to Seattle in the 2014 Super Bowl.
He will step into a new scene in Tennessee with the Titans where he will be expected to make an immediate impact to a defense that needs help. Woodyard taking the Titan opening is no surprise as he brings himself closer to his La Grange, GA home.
Here’s a highlight reel of Woodyard cracking Raider quarterback Terrell Pryor, forcing a fumble-rooskie!
